I swear, this is the last time I break my “no one under 21 rule”. Went out with this chicka, thought everything went good, told her I’d call her so we could do it again, tried on 3 different days, no answer. Doesn’t even return my call either. Doesn’t have her voicemail setup, so I can’t leave a message, but I know she had to see that I called, she knew my number because she’s called me back before. Anyway, a longtime friend reminded me of the “don’t date anyone that can’t have a drink with you, even if you don’t drink” rule, because, well, it makes sense. Apparently there is a generation gap there or something. Oh well, I’d still like to know what happened, well, rather, who told her some bogus shit. I’m not dumb, I know this had to happen, it’s really the only explination. Anyway, I guess I’ll go back into the girls are evil mindset until some pretty young thing proves me wrong (doubtful ;P).

500 miles on my bike. Hooray. Only 100 more and I can get the first service over with so I can really get up on it. I have a feeling this bike can really scoot if I give it full throttle, but I haven’t been able to do that during break-in yet.

I’ve been riding a borrowed Yamaha TW 200 Enduro [link is of a 2004, this one is older but they look the same] a ton over the weekend. I need to go get a battery for it, because it didn’t want to kick-start this morning. Hopefully sometime in September I’ll have a brand new 2004 Honda cruiser to ride.

I now have an instruction permit for a motorcycle! w00t! now, I just need a bike to take the test on sometime after 9/3 so I can have a full license. Maybe dad will get that harley from his uncle this weekend and I’ll at least have it to ride. If not, I guess I’ll wait till next spring after I buy a Honda VTX 1300 retro this winter.
